Meet Dr. Sanders, DO

Dr. Jane Sanders grew up in Los Angeles, California, where she completed her Bachelor’s degree in Biology and Master’s degree in Sports Medicine.  She taught high school biology for several years before attending medical school in Phoenix, Arizona, where she developed a strong interest in pharmacologic treatments for psychological health.  Dr. Sanders then served as chief resident during her psychiatry training in Fort Lauderdale, Florida.

Dr. Sanders has experience working in psychiatric hospitals, various outpatient clinics in multiple states, and as a psychiatric consultant at medical hospitals.  She has worked closely with war veterans at the VA hospital, college students who struggle with low motivation and poor concentration, professional athletes who have suffered traumatic brain injuries, and geriatric populations with behavioral disturbances stemming from neurocognitive decline.  Dr. Sanders specializes predominantly in treating anxiety and mood disorders, both acute and chronic.  Because of her background in education, Dr. Sanders believes in providing thorough explanations of differential diagnoses and treatment options so patients can make well-informed decisions about their care.

When Dr. Sanders is not seeing patients, she enjoys spending time with her husband, daughter, and their long-haired chihuahua.  She is also learning how to cook an edible meal.

Meet Tori, Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner

Tori is a dedicated nursing professional from Greensboro, North Carolina, with a robust career in varied healthcare settings since 2015. Her extensive experience spans across different specialties, including pediatrics, maternal/newborn care, hospice, and oncology, in both inpatient and outpatient environments.

In May 2023, she completed her master’s degree in nursing at the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill, becoming a Family Nurse Practitioner (FNP). During her studies, Tori found her true passion for mental health and resolved to focus her career on psychiatry. To deepen her expertise in this area, she pursued an additional certification in psychiatry at the University of Cincinnati and became dual-certified as a Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner (PMHNP).

Tori is particularly interested in diagnosing and managing conditions such as anxiety, mood disorders, ADHD, and trauma-related disorders. She is committed to delivering patient-centered and equitable care, with a special focus on supporting college students, young adults, and those in need of perinatal mental healthcare.

Outside of her professional commitments, Tori enjoys exercising, traveling, and cherishing time with her husband and three rescue dogs. Her diverse interests and compassionate approach to patient care contribute to her effectiveness as a healthcare provider.

Meet Corbin, Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner

Corbin Hatch grew up in Utah, where he earned his bachelor’s degree in Health Education and Promotion from Utah State University in 2016. Drawn to patient care, he went on to complete his Bachelor of Science in Nursing at the University of Utah in 2020. His early nursing career was rooted in the fast-paced environment of the Emergency Room and Burn Trauma ICU, where he cared for patients during some of their most vulnerable moments. These experiences deepened his understanding of the strong connection between physical health, stress, and emotional well-being, ultimately inspiring him to focus his career on mental health.

After relocating to North Carolina, Corbin earned his Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner (PMHNP) degree from Western Governors University. He now provides care for individuals experiencing a wide range of mental health concerns, with a special interest in anxiety and stress-related disorders. His approach is grounded in empathy, collaboration, and education—he believes that when patients understand their symptoms and treatment options, they feel empowered to take an active role in their healing.

Corbin is passionate about creating a safe and supportive space where people from all backgrounds can feel comfortable exploring their mental wellness goals. He values forming genuine connections with his patients and approaches each session with compassion, curiosity, and respect.

Outside of his professional life, Corbin enjoys spending time with his wife and their daughters, proudly embracing life as a “girl dad.” He’s a lifelong sports fan, enjoys playing the piano, and loves connecting with others both inside and outside the office.
